The Series S has three versions now too, including options with a 1TB SSD. Bundles have been lacking this year, and it remains to be seen if Xbox has an answer toSony’s PS5 Pro announcement. Regardless, we always see Xbox Series X and S discounts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so if you’re waiting to expand your console collection, it’s worth waiting to see what discounts could be had. Regardless of the consoles, Black Friday and Cyber Monday let you get the year’s biggest games for a bit cheaper, provided they didn’t release within a month or two of the event. We saw some promising game discounts during Prime Day in the summer this year, so if you’re rocking a Series X that can take physical media, you might be in with some luck. Of course, the question on lots of minds will be about the $1 Game Pass trial we’ve seen return a few times this generation. To be honest, I have doubts about this being a Black Friday/Cyber Monday special this year, given the reports that Game Pass is struggling to make money at the moment.
