Combat is fast and exciting, with auto-hits and area-of-effect mechanics helping it stand apart as more than just another D&D-like. It’s just a shame that this Starter Set seems to hold so much back from the upcoming rulebook, with a limited number of scenarios, few options for further character customisation and a reliance that your group is already familiar with Eorzea.
