The Silent Hill 2 rifle can be found in the Prison Armory when you first get there, but you’ll need to explore and find the Armory key to actually use it. This means progressing through the Prison until you open the headless serpent door further in.
Once you do that you’ll have the key and be able to head back to the armory to get the hunting rifle, arguably the best of all of theSilent Hill 2 Remake weapons, able to kill most enemies with a single shot from a long distance.
