You can also add friends in Tekken 8 across all platforms, to make organizing online fights with your pals a lot easier to manage. However, while this sort of cross-platform play can be very useful to expand the scope of a game, not all players are keen to have it switched on, especially if they’re experiencing performance issues or even cheating from those on other systems. With that in mind, here’s what you need to know about crossplay in Tekken 8, how to turn it off or on, and how to add Tekken 8 Friends to your list. Does Tekken 8 have crossplay? Crossplay? Of course I will.” He then went on to explain that he previously proposed crossplay between PS4 and Xbox One when those consoles launched, but platform issues at the time meant that this was not possible. However, past issues aside, this gave usconfirmation that crossplay in Tekken 8 is available. Naturally, the recommendation is to turn cross-platform play on to maximize the number of players you can be matched against, but your choice here is down to your personal preference. If you decide you want to change your approach to crossplay in Tekken 8 at any point, then all you need to do is head to the Options menu, then select Game Option Settings and scroll down to Cross-Platform Play, where you can turn it off or on. How to add friends in Tekken 8 (Image credit: Bandai Namco) If you’re on PlayStation or Xbox then it’s easy to add friends in Tekken 8 who are on the same platform, as you can just open the Community option from the main menu then select Friend List. This will show all friends on your platform, then you can select any of them and use the Tekken 8 Friend Request prompt to add them to your in-game friends.
